Is there something sinister at work in the peaceful countryside?。儿子打算把家里的老藏獒卖给乡上的狗贩子，父亲坚持留住这只老狗，并在路上追回准备把狗卖掉的儿子与那只藏獒。接着，老人把狗藏在山上。然而放到山上的藏獒再次被别人卖到狗贩子的手里，即将被运往内地作为宠物。儿子为了要回藏獒与狗贩子发生冲突，最后被警察拘留，年迈的父亲无奈中不得不做出艰难的决定。。剧讲述因丈夫和情妇失去视力，陷入有意识的全身麻痹的女人与拥有一切的继承女纠缠在一起，揭开围绕自己的真相，通过凄惨的复仇寻找爱情和正义的故事。。
