此片根据CAPCOM的著名动作射击游戏《丧尸围城》改编，故事发生在一个叫Megadome的城镇上，一种新型丧尸病毒袭击了这个地方，普通的病毒抑制剂“僵立停”无法对付这种病毒。新闻记者Chase Carter和他的摄影师Jordan在检疫站采访时遭到了丧尸的袭击，Jordan一个人开车跑了，而Chase则和两名女幸存者准备逃出城镇。很快他们便发现，他们不但要对付丧尸的威胁，还必须面对心狠手辣的Logan和他手下的飞车党成员……。Emma is a businesswoman coming from Australia to the U.S to sign a controversial oil contract. On her way to a press conference, she jumps into a taxi. Soon after, to her surprise, she is attacked and drugged by the taxi driver. She wakes up tied to a chair in a filthy cabin.
