Jim agrees to sail on the Hispaniola with Squire Trelawney and Dr. Livesey to find the treasure on...。唐山（甄子丹 饰）留洋学得医术后归国，与助手刘国邦在上海闸北的贫民区开设西医诊所。当地斧头帮恶霸于老七（于荣光 饰）为了得到一块地皮，经常带人殴打村民，唐山与刘国邦出手制止行凶，又义务诊治受伤村民。为制止于老七，唐山拜访了那块地的主人——自己在英国时的老师西蒙，以为西蒙工作为代价，唐山保住了村民的土地。于老七的妹妹于小倩（朱茵 饰）多年来患有喉疾，不能说话，笃信狐仙的于老七以为求仙可令妹妹痊愈，排斥西医治疗，小倩机缘巧合结识唐山，后者的诚意打动了小倩，令其接受了手术。与此同时，贫民窟中的孩子们陆续失踪，唐山发现此事的幕后主使是斧头帮和西蒙，一场恶战在所难免。。
