白复国（姜大卫 饰）、汪靖国（徐少强 饰）、武安国（刘松仁 饰）三人为武林帮派错剑堂师兄弟，汪靖国与白复国争夺帮主之位不敌，遂脱离错剑堂自创一刀会生聚七年。七年后汪靖国卷土重来，在与白复国的赌命之战中施计胜出，并将后者幼子带走。 白复国之子汪宁（吴兴国 饰）在一刀会内长大成人，与同门小莲（杨采妮 饰）、阿杰（高捷 饰）友谊甚笃。汪靖国命养子汪宁北上向“杀父仇人”白复国寻仇，同时拉拢武安国里应外合夺取错剑堂。白、汪父子相见却不相认，白复国倍感寂寞放弃了生命。得悉事实真相的汪宁伤痛欲绝，选择与小莲浪迹天涯，但他最终要与曾经最亲近的阿杰、养父刀剑相见……。In 1974, the Portuguese and their descendants fled Angola where nationalist groups gradually claimed their territory back. A tribal girl discovers love and death when her path crosses that of a Portuguese soldier. Then, a Portuguese squad is barracked inside a wall from which they will have to escape once the past comes out of the grave to claim its long-awaited justice.。
