胡八一、雪莉杨、王胖子三人受雇于林教授，加入到保护文物的队伍。在一次任务中，意外得到了关于雪莉杨父亲的线索，与罗布泊古城有关。胡八一知道父亲的失踪一直是雪莉杨的心结，决定与她一起探寻父亲的下落和罗布泊古城的秘密。于是三人组与林教授等人一起上路前往罗布泊，寻找罗布泊古城。一路上危机四伏，几经困难，终于寻找到了罗布泊古城，但更大的危机还在等待着他们。。Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。
